Meet the Prize: A $370,000 ‘65 Fastback That’s Gone Full Restomod
This is a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback taken back to bare metal and rebuilt to handle and stop like a modern car - while keeping that raw, unmistakable V8 soundtrack.
At first glance, it’s unmistakably a ’65 Fastback.
The roofline, the proportions, the silhouette that made this shape an icon.
But the longer you look, the more details start to reveal themselves.
Flush-mounted glass that smooths the body into one continuous form.
A carbon-fibre bonnet that saves weight while adding menace.
De-chromed, de-badged panels that keep the look clean and intentional - without losing its soul.
Beneath the surface, the work goes even deeper.
Strengthened sills. Strengthened front. Strengthened rear.
Reinforced where the eye can’t see - but where it matters most.
The kind of work that never makes it into glossy photos, yet defines whether a car feels nervous… or planted.
Under the bonnet sits a Roush 427R 427ci small-block making 560hp, backed by a Tremec manual and a properly built driveline. It’s loud, sharp, and absolutely unapologetic.
You don’t just drive it. You feel it. You remember it.
This Mustang is one of one.
There is no second build like it.
No duplicate spec.
No “other one just like it.”
This is what restomod is meant to mean.
If you’ve ever wanted a classic Mustang with modern performance - this is the fantasy made real.
The car is finished.
The build is complete.
And it’s ready for its next chapter.
That chapter could be yours.
